I don't understand why my health plan won't pay my doctor. How can I get them to pay?
Some insurance companies are better at administrating insurance claims than others. Some states have agencies and Ombudsman Offices to help patients, but they often only service seniors. You may have gotten a bill from your insurance company informing you that you, and not your insurance company, are responsible for your bill.
