Pain management
A patient who was rendered a quadriplegic from a diving accident was suffering with pain in his extremities. This patient had been in placement for several years and the staff had long since ceased to advocate for him. HPN contacted a physician specializing in pain management and persuaded him to provide this patient with a newly developed pain-relieving device placed surgically within the patient.
